Using Regular Expressions in Microsoft Word

In order to use regular expressions in Microsoft Word, follow these steps:
  1. Press Ctrl+F (that is, the Ctrl and the F button simultaneously) on your keyboard to bring up the "Find and Replace" dialog box
  2. In the box that appears, press the "More>>" button
  3. Be sure the checkbox labeled "Enable Wildcards" is checked, as in the image below.

You should now be able to use regular expressions in your find/replace tasks.
